Spring 2025 Vaccine and Microchip Clinics
Pawsome News!! For the first time ever, this year’s IRT training will offer free veterinary services, including vaccine and microchip clinics, for our local rural communities and the Nez Perce Reservation. Our rescue is thrilled to partner with Nimiipuu Health and the Army National Guard for this incredible event for both humans and their pets. May 12-May 21, 2025, we will be offering microchips and vaccinations in Lapwai and Kamiah. This will be a free service to anyone in our local rural communities and on the Nez Perce Reservation. You do not need to be a Tribal member to receive these free pet services.
These upcoming vaccine and microchip clinics in May will differ from our previous events in Lapwai. Our rescue team and partners will be equipped to serve more animals, aiming to ensure no pets are turned away due to supply shortages. This is a fantastic opportunity for pet owners in rural Nez Perce County, Clearwater County, Lewis County, Idaho County, and the Nez Perce Reservation. With the presence of diseases like parvo, distemper, and rabies in our communities, vaccinating your pets is more crucial than ever. Additionally, after last summer’s devastating wildfires, microchipping your pets is an essential step in keeping them safe and reunited with their owners. Vaccines for cats and dogs will be available. Microchips will be available to cats, dogs, and horses.
Follow Nimiipuu Health for additional information on the medical/dental services that will be available to the community at this event.
