Meet Frankie

Meet Frankie: a very good boy with a very active opinion department.

Frankie knows what he likes. He knows who he likes. And if you haven’t made the list yet, please don’t take it personally. Management is selective.

This little Puggle is loyal, affectionate, occasionally snarky, and powered by some very strong hound instincts. His future family needs to offer enrichment, activity, exercise, and ongoing training. Looking cute is his contribution to the household, but it cannot be his entire daily schedule.

Frankie is currently working with Cassie at Snake River Four Paws on training and behavioral assessment. He’s building skills for his next chapter, and his adopters will need to keep that work going.

We recommend a home without young children, with people who respect his boundaries and give him time to build trust.

Frankie is available for adoption to the right match. If you appreciate a little dog with a big personality and understand that friendship sometimes requires an interview, he might be your guy.

Frankie's Story

Frankie was found on April 1, 2026, wandering a trail at McCroskey State Park. He followed a group of kind people long enough for them to realize he was out there alone. They took him in, cared for him, and tried to find his owner.

He was skinny when he was found, but he already knew some of the comforts of home. Frankie was crate trained, potty trained, and quick to settle in. IARN brought him into foster care, giving him a safe place while we learned more about him and continued efforts to find where he belonged.

Today, Frankie is available for adoption and is receiving behavioral assessment and training with Cassie at Snake River Four Paws. We are helping this little Puggle build a foundation for his next chapter, with a family who understands his personality and is ready to continue supporting his progress.

Beyond the quick facts

Behavior Notes

Frankie’s hound instincts are strong. He needs regular enrichment, activity, exercise, and ongoing training to help him thrive. His family should be ready to continue the work he is doing at Snake River Four Paws.

Frankie is loyal to his people, but he can be selective about others and a little snarky at times. Give him time to build trust and follow his trainer’s guidance for introductions and handling.

A home without young children is recommended. Compatibility with resident pets and other household needs should be discussed with IARN as his assessment and training progress.
